Co-Ed | Program for 4th – 8th Grades
Skill development intensive with 100% concentration on the individual skills of boy and girl athletes in a co-ed, multi age session.
Much of Youth Basketball today puts too much emphasis on game play versus skills acquisition and how to apply those skills during games. Basketball players must possess fundamental skills to take advantage of what they see happening on the court and be successful in the game. Many coaches fascination with complex actions and multiple defenses gets in the way of sound teaching leading to confusion and/or missed opportunities on the court. Select7 was created to change that!
Through our one-of-a-kind instructional basketball league, young athletes will learn the fundamental skills to be able to analyze situations on the court in real time to build intuitive knowledge of the sport for long term success on ANY team.
JD7’s Select7 Basketball leagues are open to athletes of all skill levels. We offer both girls and boys leagues for grades 3 to 5 and grades 6 to 8.

All teams are coached by qualified basketball coaches who have attended the JD7 academy to master our training philosophies. Games are referreed by MHSAA referees. Clock and score table are staffed by our personnel.
Camp vs. Clinic

Our Summer and Winter Academies are offered as an alternative to spring break, summer break and winter break camps. These academies exclusively focus on basketball skills development
